Voter Resources for 5C01 Residents

The information on voting below largely applies to all DC residents, but is tailored specifically to list locations and options that are closest to voters in Single Member District 5C01, in Woodridge. If you would like city-wide or general voting information, please visit the DC Board of Elections site, which has many resources available. And make a plan to vote!

Four Ways to Vote - Cast Your Ballot by November 3

BY MAIL

All registered* voters in DC will be sent a ballot by mail. You can fill out this ballot and return it - a return envelope and postage are included - immediately. 

 

*Not registered to vote or need to update your name or address? You can register in-person during early voting or on Election Day, November 3. Acceptable forms of ID on the website.

BALLOT DROP BOXES

 Instead of mailing it, you can take your mail-in ballot to any one of 55 drop box in the city until 8pm on Nov 3. Track your ballot by registering here.

The closest drop boxes for 5C01 residents are at Perry Street Preperatory School (1800 Perry St NE) or the Woodridge Library (1801 Hamlin St NE).

VOTE EARLY IN-PERSON

Early vote centers will be open in DC starting on October 27 through November 2. They will be open 8:30am to 7:00pm. 

The nearest early vote centers for 5C01 residents are the Turkey Thicket Recreation Center (1100 Michigan Ave NE) and the Trinidad Recreation Center (1310 Childress St NE), but voters may cast their vote at any vote center.

ELECTION DAY IN-PERSON

You can vote on November 3 in person at any vote center in the District. Turkey Thicket and Trinidad Rec Centers will still be open on Election Day, as will Burroughs Elementary School (1820 Monroe St NE). Voting centers will be open 7:00am to 8:00pm. Masks will be required.
